Some people believe that a bathroom should be beautiful and elegant, while others want it more functional and simple. It is up to the homeowner’s decision on what they want their bathroom to look like in the end.

One reason homeowners might find a bathroom to be beautiful is that it can help them relax. Some people will choose luxurious, fancy items for their bathrooms so they can enjoy moments of pampering before going on with the rest of their day. This could include extravagant sinks, tubs, or showers, as well as beautiful flooring or fixtures within the room. In this way, a bathroom does not need to be purely functional, and it isn’t always created simply for utilitarian purposes.

There are, of course, many people who feel that a bathroom should be minimalistic in design. This is often because a bathroom can be quite small, and it’s essential not to waste any space with unnecessary items. In this type of bathroom, homeowners might choose a sleek sink or tub and simple fixtures. In general, the focus will be on creating a functional space that is easy to clean and maintain.

Ultimately, it does not matter whether a bathroom is designed to be beautiful or simple. Here in Las Vegas remodel, what matters to us is that you are happy with the outcome and your tastes are met. That’s why we present the best options with their pros and cons to help you decide before we start with your bathroom remodeling project.

People think that bathrooms these days cannot be purely functional and completely beautiful at the same time. At Remodel Las Vegas, we can make that possible. But of course, we always prioritize the things you care about. For instance, if you value function over beauty, we should focus on glamorous fixtures and improvements that improve functionality. If you value beauty more than function, we can let you choose high-quality items like sinks and showers that add elegance. Whatever you prefer, we make sure it is something that you will be happy with for years to come. After all, a bathroom remodel is an investment that adds value to your home.

Here are some of the elements that we consider in all our bathroom remodeling projects to come up with a new functional and elegant bathroom:

  • TILES. Remember that your bathroom needs for moisture control are different from any other area in your house. You will want to choose a tile resistant to moisture and easy to clean. Be sure to keep the size of your bathroom in mind. If you have a small bathroom, you’ll want to choose smaller tiles so that the space doesn’t feel cramped. If you have a large bathroom, you can select larger tiles or even use different tiles for different areas of the room.
  • LIGHTING FIXTURES. When choosing lighting fixtures, size matters. You want to make sure that you select fixtures that are proportional to the size of the room. If your bathroom is small, choose smaller fixtures. If your bathroom is large, go for bigger fixtures. Also, if you’re going for a modern look, choose sleek and minimalist fixtures. Opt for fixtures with more character if you’re going for a traditional look.
  • SHOWERS. When updating your bathroom, one of the decisions you’ll have to make is what type of shower to install. There are various shower types to choose from, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. We recommend a prefabricated shower if you’re looking for a quick and easy installation. If you want a more custom-looking shower, you might want to consider installing a tiled shower.
  • BATHTUBS. If you’re the type who loves taking baths often, you’ll want a deeper tub that can accommodate your body. A shallower model will be more appropriate if you are mostly using the tub for showers. Bathtubs can range in price from a few hundred dollars to several thousand dollars, so we can help you decide to make sure you choose wisely.
  • SINK. You’ll want to choose a sink that matches the countertop material. For example, if you have a granite countertop, you’ll want a granite sink. If you have sinks and countertops in different materials, this can look a little strange and isn’t worth your money.
The kind of sink you choose will depend on what sort of feel you are trying to establish in the bathroom. Is it an elegant bathroom where everything matches well? You may want to go with something classic like a pedestal sink. Does it need more personality, or maybe blend styles better? Maybe a vessel sink would work better for you. Also, now that tubs are taking over in popularity, how much space do you have left in the bathroom after adding one? You don’t want to end up with a small sink because it feels disembodied and strange in the space. Measure out the available countertop space and choose a sink that will fit comfortably.
  • MIRRORS. You can choose between frameless or framed mirrors. Frameless mirrors are considered elite standards in today’s bathroom industry, plus they don’t need large counter space next to them. They can fit almost everywhere, which is way much more convenient than other types of bathroom wall mirrors. If you consider buying framed wall mirror, you would need at least another 24 inches of free space on the top or bottom side of the mirror (in case if you plan to mount it above the sink) and additional six inches on each side (which will be necessary for holding framer bars).
  • FLOORING. There are different types of flooring to choose from, so it can be difficult to decide which is best for your bathroom. Here’s a tip from us: Consider the climate and humidity levels in your bathroom. If your bathroom is in a humid environment, you will need flooring that can withstand moisture. Tile or vinyl are good choices for bathrooms with high humidity levels, while hardwood or laminate may not be suitable.
Also, If your bathroom is constantly busy, you will want durable and easy to clean flooring. Tile, laminate, or vinyl are suitable options for high traffic areas, as they can be easily cleaned and withstand a lot of wear and tear.
  • FAUCETS. There’s a wide range of faucet options on the market, so it can be difficult to know which one works well for your bathroom. Firstly, consider the style of your bathroom. If you are going for a modern look, then a sleek, contemporary faucet may be the best choice. If your bathroom has a more traditional or Victorian style, then a more ornate faucet may be a better option.
Second, think about how much water you use in your bathroom. If you have a larger family, then you may need an extra-large faucet that can supply more water. Additionally, if your bathroom is small or has a low ceiling, a tall faucet will leave no room to spare.

Another factor to consider is how much traffic your bathroom gets. If you have many people using this bathroom on a daily basis, you may want to choose a more durable and easy-to-clean faucet. Also, if someone in your household has arthritis or other conditions that make turning the faucet on and off difficult, installing motion sensors instead of hand valves will benefit everyone’s safety and convenience.
